At Single Parent Connection,

our mission is at the heart of everything we do.

Our programs are carefully designed to align with this mission, aiming to strengthen the social environment, enhance economic resilience, nurture leadership capabilities, and improve the overall quality of life for single parent families. Through workshops, support groups, and educational initiatives, we provide invaluable resources and support networks that empower single parents to thrive in all aspects of their lives.

By fostering a sense of community, offering financial literacy training, nurturing leadership skills, and providing opportunities for personal growth, we strive to create a brighter and more sustainable future for single parent families.

Level Up

Financial Wellness Program

for Single Parents

Single Parent Connection invites you to join us for the Level Up Financial Wellness Program,

a 12-week financial literacy cohort created

JUST FOR SINGLE PARENTS!

The Level Up Program teaches financial literacy, but it goes so much further than that! This program takes you on a financial journey, challenges your thinking and current financial strategies, while offering practical and real-life solutions to help single parents move from SURVIVING TO THRIVING!

 

We offer small class sizes, one on one mentoring, a supportive and fun environment, gas cards and bus cards to help parents get to and from class, and an opportunity to EARN FINANCIAL INCENTIVES WHILE LEARNING!

"When the Math isn't Mathing!"

Single Parent Connection is ZOOMING!

Just us online for this free brainstorming session where we will explore creative ways to cut your spending, master your budget, and find cost effective ways to still enjoy life. Amy Powers, an experienced financial literacy educator, will lead this thought-provoking session. Bring your questions, and let's work together to find solutions.

Boys to Men Summer Workshops for boys ages 12-18

(Program starts June 1, 2024)

Single parents who are raising young men...

check this workshop out!

Join our community partners from

the Blended Church Men's Ministry as they lead

the Boys to Men Summer Workshop Series.

Purpose: To help young men achieve personal development and success as they transition from

Boyhood to Manhood

This program is free of charge for boys ages 12-18.

Lunch is provided daily.

Boys to Men takes place

Saturdays, from 10:30am-12:30pm

Workshop Activities:

June 1st - Learning to fish and bar-b-que

June 8th - Automotive Maintenance

June 15th - Life skills (shaving, tying a necktie, interview skills)

June 22nd - Working with power tools

June 29th - Financial Literacy
